World Council of Indigenous Games (WIG) operates through a structured network of Regional Bodies to promote, preserve, and develop indigenous games, traditional sports, and cultural heritage across continents and nations.

Purpose of WIG Regional Bodies

WIG Regional Bodies are established to:

  • Preserve and promote indigenous & traditional games
  • Coordinate regional championships, festivals, and workshops
  • Support grassroots athletes, coaches, and indigenous communities
  • Implement WIG policies at regional and national levels
  • Act as a bridge between local organizations and the global WIG council
